Summary: The MIC5501/2/3/4 is an advanced general-purpose LDO ideal for powering general-purpose portable devices. The MIC5501/2/3/4 family of products provides a high-performance 300mA LDO in an ultra-small 1mm x 1mm package. The MIC5502 and MIC5504 LDOs include an auto-discharge feature on the output that is activated when the enable pin is low. The MIC5503 and MIC5504 have an internal pull-down resistor on the enable pin that disables the output when the enable pin is left floating. This is ideal for applications where the control signal is floating during processor boot up. Ideal for battery-powered applications, the MIC5501/2/3/4 offers 2% initial accuracy, low dropout voltage (160mV at 300mA), and low ground current (typically 38µA). The TPS723xx family of low-dropout (LDO) negative voltage regulators offers an ideal combination of features to support low noise applications. These devices are capable of operating with input voltages from –10 V to –2.7 V, and support outputs from –10 V to –1.2 V. The MP28200 is a monolithic power-management unit containing 200mA, high-efficiency, step-down, switching converters. The nanoamp quiescent current provides extremely high efficiency when the load current is down in the µA range. With minimum input voltage as low as 2V, the MP28200 allows the system to operate directly from the battery. The constant-on-time control scheme provides fast transient response, high light-load efficiency, and requires minimal capacitance. The regulation can be made tight by integrating an error amplifier to correct the output voltage. The CTRL pins control the on/off and output voltage selection functions. Fault protection features include under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-current protection (OCP), and thermal shutdown. The MAX1044 and ICL7660 are monolithic, CMOS switched-capacitor voltage converters that invert, double, divide, or multiply a positive input voltage. They are pin compatible with the industry-standard ICL7660 and LTC1044. Operation is guaranteed from 1.5V to 10V with no external diode over the full temperature range. They deliver 10mA with a 0.5V output drop. The MAX1044 has a BOOST pin that raises the oscillator frequency above the audio band and reduces external capacitor size requirements.
